Two techniques of Capturing Movement A technique of capturing movement is to have a blurred background but the subject has to be in focus. To create this effect you will need to use a slow shutter speed but instead of using a tripod you will need to pan your camera along the path in which your subject is going.
Another technique is to have a blurred subject but the background in focus. In this image you can see the subject blurred but the background isn't really in focus but to try and achieve this affect you will need a slow shutter speed like the first one.
Lost In The Lens This was an activity to see if we could pull or warn our partner of danger while they were "lost in the lens" trying to get the perfect shot. This was to show that if you could trust your partner enough to help you be aware of your surroundings. There are situations in which this is important, for example wildlife photography ; there could be a huge rhino coming towards you but you wouldn't know because you are trying to get the perfect shot.
